Consumer Health Data Policy
How agni handles health information, under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Agni Health Inc. ("agni", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares consumer health data: information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and identifies your past, present, or future physical health. It covers this website (including the waitlist) and the agni app, and applies to residents of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, and anywhere else similar laws apply.
It adds to our Privacy Policy, which describes everything else we collect and your other privacy rights.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
On this website (the waitlist).
- Your waitlist membership. agni is an app for GERD and IBS, so joining its waitlist with your first name and email could suggest a digestive health interest. We use it only to run the waitlist and send your launch offer, which is the service you ask for when you join.
- The condition you pick (optional). After you confirm, you can tell us what brings you to agni: GERD, IBS, both, or not sure. We store it only if you check the consent box beside the choices, and we use it to understand who agni is for and to tailor launch news.
In the agni app.
- Health information you choose to log: meals and ingredients, symptoms, stool entries (including Bristol Scale ratings), sleep, medications, your gut condition, and notes.
- Apple Health signals you allow, such as sleep, workouts, steps, and menstrual cycle.
- Insights we generate from your logs, such as ranked triggers, your daily gut score, weekly summaries, and doctor reports you ask us to create.
We use app health data to provide the features you ask for: logging, scoring meals, finding your triggers, and building your reports.
Where it comes from
- Directly from you, when you join the waitlist or log in the app.
- From your device and Apple Health, only with your permission.
- From our own analysis of the data you give us (insights and scores).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we collect, use, or share your consumer health data, and give you a copy of it.
- Tell you the third parties we have shared it with, and how to contact them.
- Delete it.
- Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
For the waitlist condition, unchecking the consent box on your waitlist page withdraws your consent and deletes the condition right away. In the app, you can delete your account from settings. For anything else, email useagnihealth@gmail.com from the address you used with agni so we can confirm it is you. We respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more.
If we decline your request, reply to our answer to appeal, and we will respond within 45 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Attorney General in your state, such as the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. We never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
