IBS tracker app
The IBS tracker that finds your triggers.
Log meals, symptoms, and stool in seconds. agni matches them over the hours and days IBS actually works on, and shows which foods and FODMAP groups come before your flares.

01 · Why IBS is hard to log
IBS reactions can come hours, or days, after the meal.
That is why a notes app rarely finds IBS triggers: the culprit is often not the last thing you ate. agni looks back over the right window for each kind of symptom:
- Pain: 1 to 6 hours after a meal
- Gas and bloating: 2 to 8 hours
- Lower gut symptoms: 2 to 12 hours
- Changes in your stool: 12 hours to 3 days
It also separates foods you usually eat together, so the onion in every dinner is not blamed for the bread beside it.

02 · Stool, properly
Log stool on the Bristol scale, with the details your doctor asks about.
Pick one of the seven Bristol types, described in plain words from "very firm" to "very loose". Add urgency, effort, whether you felt relief, and anything unusual like blood.
Snap a photo instead if that is easier: agni suggests a type and you confirm it.

03 · FODMAPs, by ingredient
See which FODMAP groups are in what you eat.
Photograph a meal and agni breaks it into ingredients, each tagged by FODMAP group: fructans, GOS, lactose, excess fructose, and polyols. Tell agni which groups bother you and it counts them through the day.
Reintroducing a food? Start a food trial: eat it about three times in a week, and agni reports how you reacted. New to FODMAPs? Our guide to IBS trigger foods explains the groups.

04 · Made for your IBS
IBS-D, IBS-C, mixed, or not sure yet.
Tell agni your subtype (or "I'm not sure yet") when you start. It shapes which symptoms you see first and how your daily gut score weighs stool, food, and symptoms.
When you see your doctor, export a PDF report with your stool pattern, symptom frequency, the foods agni has flagged, and a plain summary on page one.

Questions, answered.
What is the best app for IBS?
It depends on what you need. If you want an app to find your food triggers for you, agni is built for that: it does the matching rather than leaving you charts to read, looks up to three days after a meal for changes in your stool, logs stool on the Bristol scale, and tags FODMAP groups on every ingredient. It was developed with a board-certified gastroenterologist and registered dietitians.
What is the best way to track IBS symptoms?
Log every meal, every symptom with its severity, and every bowel movement on the Bristol scale, with times, for at least two to four weeks. The times matter most, because IBS reactions can come hours or days later. An app like agni does the matching for you.
Does agni follow the low FODMAP diet?
agni tags each ingredient by FODMAP group and lets you run food trials when you reintroduce foods, which fits the reintroduction phase of a low FODMAP diet. It does not give you a diet plan; a dietitian can guide the phases with you.
How long until agni finds my triggers?
A food needs to show up several times before agni says anything about it, and agni tells you how sure it is: learning, confident, or confirmed. Most people see their first patterns after a few weeks of steady logging.
Can I share my IBS log with my doctor?
Yes. agni builds a PDF report for the last 2 weeks, month, 3 months, or a custom range, and you can share it from your phone or with a QR code that expires after 48 hours.
